I just got an email back from my MA after I asked when my CM would be delivered, as it has been sitting at the VDC for over a week. He said that the reason it was held up was because the chrome trim was replaced with an updated part.

Don't have any details beyond that, but if this is true, updated parts for everyone else shouldn't be too far off!

 

I was hoping they would take care of this at the factory, but the VDC is just as good if it relieves us of having to take it in a few months from now. Hope its true, would explain the long layovers at the VDC.

 

My MA at Prestige Mini sent me pics tonight of my CM at the dealership! Will pick-up on Thursday, slightly 8 weeks since I placed my order...thanks to SB @ Prestige!!

Looks as if the chrome is fine - will see for sure soon. Was at the VDC for a week place so maybe the part was dealt with there...fingers crossed.

Otherwise, love the pics - can't wait!!!

 

What was the production date of your vehicle?

Just curious because mine was Aug. 27th and my CM will be arriving at Port Hueneme VDC on the 4th. I was curious as to if mine will need the new chrome or not.
