So did I, just wasn't as impressed with it in person as the LW, although it also could have been my love for CR, PO is nice but not CR, probably my fav. Mini color, so any other red did not meet my expectations.

 

I went into it looking for an established Red - MINI has several to choose from - and was not impressed by the PR. Then I started looking at it just as PR and it started to grow on me. Now that I've seen several of them in various combinations, I'm really liking it. I know that not everyone can be a Pure Orange, but that's OK. As this thread shows, the LWs can be quite nice, too.

 

Its also PR is very lighting dependent, in certain lights I love it, in others not so much. So seeing it at the dealership a few times (and in pics), I really wasn't that sure which I would get day to day. A fantastic choice if you get bored easily with colors, it never looks exactly the same. It would have absolutely been my second choice after LW.

 

White and red must be the two most popular colors in the R60. I've seen 6 Countrymen on the road total: 3 LW and black, a PR and white, a PR and black and a Surf Blue & white. The dealer in my area has 8 LW and blacks on the lot and only 1 or 2 of each of the other colors. I'm bored with the LW and black already. It looks sort of dirty to me.

The Surf Blue was a real eye-catcher and the Pure Reds weren't too shabby either.
