Question Faint clunk coming from the front (possible Megan Racing strut bar)?

So several months ago I took advantage of a ebay discount and picked up a new Megan Racing strut bar that I installed. Recently I notice a really faint clunk (like a nut is loose somewhere under the hood).....so I removed the bar and reinstalled to factory torque specs.

Just wanted to know if anyone that has this bar has any similar issues? My car is a '15 with 58K miles.

I can only tell you from recent rear sway bar experience on a 3rd gen car that torquing the bolts and then torquing them more than you original thought is probably needed. I'm not sure that factory torque specs really apply since you have changed parts and stress, etc. Maybe someone with engineering experience will add to this point. Mine were torqued to factory and got loose in less than 100 miles.

I wonder how high I can torque them without breaking anything?!

you'll get a faint clunk when your top strut mounts wear out...
