has anyone seen a amber 4X4! warming light on the speedometer ???

a amber warming light that show 4X4! came on for about 30sec when i was stuck in the snow and it went away after i stopped trying getting out of the snow.

anyone know whats that light mean ??

 

See attached screen shot from p.169 of my 2011 Owner's Manual. Appears to be saying your 4x4 has failed.

 

And it stopped when you quit trying to escape the snow? Temporary issue not worth worrying about.

Warming light? Maybe the All4 got too hot.
