That is the steering shaft (with U-joint) where it goes into the rack and pinion (on other side of the firewall). Looks about the same as most other cars I've had in the last 20-30 years.

Thanks DR - Half the cars I've owned have had a piece of plastic trim that covers the steering shaft and others don't. Since this is my first MINI, I didn't know if the plastic trim was missing or not.

Hello everyone,

I know there aren't much activities on this thread and this is under
the Countryman's section but...

I just got Oxford Green Paceman and wanted to chime in...

Here's my baby~! He is SUPER FUN~!!

(not much activity = rare color combination?? but to me, the green
car is very classy~ )

Nice to see the updates and additons of the Oxford Green Countrymans and Pacemans.

Is the Paceman from Belgium a JCW model? lambik, what is the list of options on your Paceman, looks nice!

Has anyone seen an oxford green with the lime mirror caps / scuttles? Im continuing to research for a possible future build and am curious about the combination. Also thinking maybe cosmic blue with the fluro blue mirror caps scuttles.

Here a pic of me with my Oxford Green '12 MINI Countryman. Has Connected with NAVI and Sunroof.

Its basically all stock except for the tints I got installed all around.
and NOO I don't pull the boat with my MINI. LOL.. People ask me that... I have a Ford F-250 for the boat

Totally love the Countryman! Its such a rare car, where I live no one else has the Countryman and it gets all types of intrigue.

Looks great - so do all those nice Oxford Green Pacemen.

Although I have a white roof and mirrors (bought off the lot), I do really like it with either a black roof or a body colored roof. Mine's a 2012 and has close to 37k miles on it. It's a great car!

My dad is now trying to get an Oxford green with white roof. He loves the white roof.
