Making some good use of the center rail

The kids are having a blast with this, they had it horizontal & flat playing air hockey.

Here is the mount if anyone is interested.
http://www.gpscity.com/ram-mount-app...-121-ap8u.html

Cost was $56 shipped.

The mount is very robust & high quality, check out the other items, I'm thinking iPhone next.

I would be neat if someone made one that actually clipped into the rail like the factory accessories do...

Good idea though!

Does anyone know if the 2 piece can be replaced with the 1 piece rail?

I have kids... Figured there would be an aftermarket product for exactly this purpose... DVD player or iPad with a nice clean install... Wanted the single rail. When I bought my CM, the only manual ALL4 in the state of Texas had two rails. (Had every other option on my wish list..)

I would like to put the single rail in as well.... Was wondering the same thing... Can you replace a dual with a single rail...?

The RAM mount I'm showing in this thread should work with the rear section of the split rail. It will be just a few more inches back. Slide the cup
holder(s) all the way to the rear of the rail & there should be plenty of room

Adding a factory item after delivery such as the full center rail will most likely be extremely expensive

Brilliant. Exactly what I was looking for, and way easier than manufacturing my own!
