Thumbs up Voyage of the Torrens . . .

Pure Orange is on the Torrens and, so far, on schedule. Made a quick stop in Belgium and spent today in Southampton. Left harbour about an hour or so ago - next stop is Baltimore on May 1st.

I know Mrs. Chapiko's Light White is traveling with him. I got word she spotted PO and locked herself in the loo. Says she won't come out until she sees the flag over Fort McHenry.

Anyone else?

We're now in the Celtic Sea, heading for the Atlantic. Making progress at a zippy 17 knots.

Sealy - who knows that's about 20mph

I don't know about that. A rumor got back to me she's a bit of a partier.

You know what they say about the quiet ones.

Torrens is now off the charts. I'll have to wait until it is picked up again.

Pure Orange was last seen chatting up a deck hand in an attempt to get the key for the loo. She won't be quiet for long - he's been known to set off alarms.

Monday update - - -

Still no sign of the Torrens. My SO has postulated that she sank and took Pure Orange with her. I have a strong urge to key his new BMW, but I'm resisting.

Sealy - who realizes that patience is a virtue. As I have so few, I might as well try to hold on to this one.

Torrens is now moored in Baltimore Harbor. Talked to my MA yesterday and he said I should keep Thursday open as a possibility. He'll e-mail me when he has a definite day.

Torrens is now "unmoored". I'm assuming that means unloaded and heading back out to sea.

Its on now Sealy. Shall we see who gets theirs first? I'm gussing that its going to be you since you're a little closer to Baltimore than I am.

The Torrens is back to being moored in B'more harbor. I have no idea what they are doing. I have half a mind (no jokes) to go up there and straighten (no jokes) them out.

It's not the distance, it's the processing. MA says it's all up to the dispatcher as to who gets what when. More patience that I don't have.

Well, I talked to my MA and he said he would e-mail me as soon as he had word on my vehicle. No word yet.

However, I pulled up their web site this morning and checked new car inventory and my car is listed. Strange. I'll give him a call as soon as they are open. Looks like a Saturday delivery.

Sealy - where's Pure Orange? I thought for sure you'd have yours before I got mine.

Pure Orange is somewhere between B'more and up my MA's p'tootie. I was in a seminar all day with limited communication. Called him at first break and he had just gotten in and didn't know anything. Said he would call me back. Nine hours later and he's not been heard from. I arranged for Friday off, but am now in a f' it mode. I'm going to work and if I hear from him I hear from him. He's not getting a commission until I sign the papers.

Congrats! I guess Richmond is closer to B'more than DC?

I think Pure Orange is just taking a well-deserved rest after a very active cruise - not likely slept thru the crossing.

Not likely much rest when/if he gets here, either.

Sealy - who's just gonna keep calm.

You have a lot of patience. I sure hope you two get together real soon. And, don't let him get any rest. I'm looking forward to reading your post after delivery.

I know I am enjoying Misty a whole lot and you're sure to enjoy Pure Orange as well.

Have fun.

Bill

Mine was on the Torrens also. I got a call this AM. It was delivered in Cincy today, to my complete surprise! Hope to pick up on Monday after S stripes and black mirrors are added.

Last shot is my current car with license plates intended for the new one...

C'monnnnn Monday!

Don

So, now Cincinnatti is further up the chain than DC? If I don't hear from my MA today - - - well, I guess I wait another day.

There is probably a general manager at your dealership. Maybe your MA is off or sick. You should not have to wait and it appears he shouldn't get the whole commission anyway.

Bill (Who returns calls and e-mail within 2 hours if possible) Who has very limited patience with those that don't communicate.

He's there and he's not sick. I talked to him yesterday, my call to him. We do have somewhat of a decent relationship. He communicates when something actually happens, but he's not too good at the in-beetween stuff. So, "I'll check and get back to you." has a 50/50 chance of happening. If it was there, I'd get a call. (SO did a drive through yesterday and there was no Pure Orange on the lot.)

Sealy - Who's last couple of days waiting are going to do him in

Hey another Cincinnati Mini person.
My CM is suppose to hit port on the 9th. They have to put the stripes and mud flaps on it at the DC. Then off to Cincinnati!
