Asked my SM for some detail this morning, our Countryman is in the paint shop status 152, still projected completion of 11/3/2010.
I hope they don't go to fast, we need some quality here.

Great news! Looks like everyone's car but mine is in production. Repeat after me, any day now, any day now.

Well to be fair, my dealer actually hasn't told me much
First I'm told week 45. I then asked to review the order record since ASKMINI says there is no date assigned. MA sends me the order record and states that the order has been moved up to week 44. Yet reviewing the order record show a Req. Prod. of week 44 but a Conf. Prod. of week 46. I take this to mean week 44 was requested and week 46 was confirmed. And the Est. Prod. Date field is blank.
So, I'm fairly in the dark here and repeated requests for explanations have gone unanswered. Perhaps I am too impatient but I've been extremely polite all along the way.
So I'll wait to hear back. It's just frustrating to get ambiguous or contradictory answers. Whatever it is it is. I would just like to know what it is. Is that asking too much?

I would be frustrated too!

Honestly it's just frustrating. Even if built week 46 it will still arrive before we thought it would so I guess it's still a good thing.

Lead Time to arrive at dealership
I work for a midwest MINI dealer. I have always told my customers to allow 30 days from the "born on" date for arrival at the dealership. Usually it arrives a few days before that. That time frame allows for a slight delay at the Port or getting on a shipping vessel.
The Countryman is coming from the same plant that the X-3 was built in so I asked my associates on the BMW side and they stated that it was about the same time frame.
Dealers in other parts of the country will vary.

We made it to Assembly finish/quality check status 155 today.
Waiting for some more information on ship and port when the dealer has the information.
Does anyone know which lines ship out of Bremmerhaven and what line BWM/MINI will be using to ship?
Might be the early Xmas gift for the wife.

Dealer gave me VIN number today and said
that it was in final production headed to quality control - delivery for late November early December - All Black All4 with absolutely everything on it! Put deposit down late September - one of first five at dealer.
I know there are several members that have placed orders for a Countryman and have production numbers, myself included.
Has anyone's order status moved from "On Order" to "Scheduled for Production"?
If so, please state R60 model ordered (MC, MCS, MCS All4), date ordered, and other info that you think may be helpful to others.
My order for a MCS All4 with Nav was officially accepted on 10/14 and is currently "On Order" according to the Owners' Lounge. My dealer states this is a November allocation.

Did you get a ship assignment, yet? And did I ask, is your ol.mini showing "waiting transport'?
If so,
@Spencer1, Congrats on ordering and getting in line. You east folks suck.

Midnight Blue - your time will come . .
and you will probably be receiving yours right about the same time Old81 and I get ours!
He's Colorado ~ I'm Arizona.
Our guys have to go thru the Panama Canal and then up to Port Hueneme.
Spencer1 - Congratulations!

I'm in very sunny Phoenix.
No black or dark colored vehicles for me ~ and no more sunroofs. In the middle of August, it's like being in an oven. Gotta love the white roof option!
No ship assignment and OL is still showing scheduled for production. I've been calling the ever-helpful 1-866-ASK-MINI.
According to ASK-MINI, shipping info from the dealer is the most accurate. I'll wait until Wednesday or Thursday and then start bugging my MA.
Have you or do you, name your vehicles?
My MINI's are the only ones with names.

So far only my 07 MINI earned a name.
I figure I will bug my dealer on Tuesday, we have a club meeting up Tuesday in the area.
Also, the dealer is having a movie night on Thursday and I will be at the other dealer with a friends JCW Thursday AM.
I will scout around, see if I can find some paper info.
AZ should be faster than Colorado, shorter run over on the truck.

Just found this thread. Ordered my 11 MINI Cooper S Countryman All4 a few weeks ago. Just called ASK MINI and they say my due date is Nov 11! I'm so excited.
I went with everything as black, Absolute Black Paint, Carbon Black Lounge Leather, Anthracite Head Liner, Interior Piano Black with Carbon Black and 18" Jet Black wheels.
I think I got all the options except Nav since the iPhone/iPad works great for that. MINI Connected sounds amazing. I'm still driving my Chili Red & Black 03' MCS and love it, thinking the Countryman will be a little more friendly for more than one passenger...
Looking forward to seeing all the updates!
