Recent Mods
Hi all! Been an R60 owner (2012 CMS All4) and forum reader since 2015, but I just officially registered and this is my first post. Recently purchased some upgrades and finally installed them: NM Module, Sprint Booster, aFe drop-in replacement air filter. Module is set to high and I exclusively run 93 octane (I've never run less than 91 since owning the car at 11K miles). Definitely noticeable power increases...but I get a hesitation or "bucking" during acceleration since putting in the NM. I've been running the replacement filter prior to the other mods and never had an issue. Would upgrading to a higher flow 360 degree filter help with this?

Awesome, first post and everyone left you hanging. Welcome! Now to the issue....did you ever solve it? I have seen some other threads with the same type of issue with the NM Module. If I recall correctly, it has something to do with the high setting. Try adjusting it to the lower setting and see if that cures it. Good luck

This is absolutely true! I had a cone filter on my intake and made my intake air temps at least ten degrees hotter than with the factory airbox. I switched back. It’s quieter, and I do love the turbo sounds, but between the intake temp and the fact that the DV+ is super quiet too, there was just no logical reasons to keep it that way. Save the $ from an intake and put it towards an ECU tune or something else that will provide an actual real improvement.
