Drivetrain Alternatives to JB+?

Alternatives to JB+?
I've been battling electronic gremlins in my 2016 CMS ALL 4 for a few months. Studdering while under acceleration/load. That saga is well covered in another thread.
However, I have a JB+ installed and Im starting to wonder if the JB+ is causing my issues? With that said I really like having a little more "on-ramp/uphill/passing" power than stock. Are there quality, similarily simple alternatives to the JB+ out there I should consider? Love feedback from other R60 owners. Thanks!

Thanks @minnie.the.moocher; I agree, just dont like the idea of going back to stock. Love the extra go the JB+ provides but there is clearly something wrong that is causing all of this studdering. I have replaced the plugs twice and the coils once, done the injector service, just dont know what else it could be. @1ravinglunatic, a JB+ is a very simple plug in tuner module from Burger tuning that pulls some more HP and torgue out of our R60's. I have had it in my 2016 CM all4 S since 5k miles. It makes our cars even more fun!

I wonder if the stumbling under load is spark blowout. Have you checked your plugs and checked the gap of your plugs?
I just changed them in my R60 when it started to misfire and threw codes. The gaps were way out of spec. .04 versus .027.
With increased pressure in the cylinders, you might even consider a tighter gap to see if that helps.

We offer the NM module for the N18 that is plug in module just like the JB as another option. And on sale right now

But if you want an even better option an ECU tune will get you more power and throttle response, but you have to ship your ECU to us to have it done.

Turn off car.
Pop the hood lock, but don't open it.
Get out and lock the car.
Wait about 5 minutes for everything to go to sleep.
Open the hood, and remove the JB+. Plug the sensor back like stock.
My JB+ caused some stuttering and issues, so I got a hold of burger. They told me to send it back to see if it needed to be reprogrammed. Turns out it was an older version, and had some cracked wiring inside. Got a new one, and works slick now.
