Pops and burbles?

I have a new 2016 Countryman JCW and the manual (and many in these forum posts) mention the pop and burble sounds of the exhaust. The manual says they are more pronounced in Sport mode. I don't hear a thing.

Should these be audible in the car? Anyone else having these problems? Can someone post a video of a JCW Countryman that is making the "correct" noises?

Thank you.

You need 3 things for the P&B to show up:

- be done with the break-in period
- run in Sports mode
- engine must be at normal running temp

But even with that, my 2013 CM JCW was not as lound as the R56s. With everything closed, you almost could not hear it.

The "best way" was with the back windows down, at low speed (i.e in the off ramp of the highway, slowing down from a hot run)
