Need Help Accessing Area Under Roll Bar

I just purchased a 2013 JCW Roadster. Love it! What I don't love is the hollow plastic creaks/crack sounds of the area under the roll bars when I hit a bump. I want to get in there and install some dynamat and dynaliner to give the car the level of refinement it deserves. Wondering if anyone has gotten in this area? Don't want to go prying with tools when a panel might have some hidden screws, etc. I haven't been able to find a parts diagram for this section. Any assistance will be appreciated. Thanks, Jim

I haven't removed this cover yet but plan too. Let us know how you make out.

Pretty sure Dynamat isn't going to solve the problem. Its probably the plastic buts themselves. Dynamat work good for isolating noises that originate outside the vehicle (tire, exhaust noise, etc). Some adhesive backed felt strategically placed does wonders for silencing those annoying plastic pop and rattle noises though.

Well dynamat dampens vibrations. So if two plastic, metal, etc parts are rattling, squeaking, popping against one another, dynamat will reduce and deaden those sounds. It doesn't care where the sound/vibration comes from, be it externally, internally or the area itself. My Roadster is also noisier because I have the torque arm bushing installed. This reduces drive line slop so the car is quicker and more responsive. The drawback is since the motor is more connected to the car, more vibrations are transmitted to the driver. It's only noticeable when stopped.

This is my motorcycle, a 2011 Victory Vision. Lots of ABS on ABS parts with plenty of plasticy creaks and groans. Dynamat'd several parts, and now it's much much quieter. When you tap on it, you get a nice solid thump rather than a clanky hollow plastic sound.

Gorgeous looking ride! So you must have placed the dynamat on the plastic panels themselves then yes? I can see where that would work. My R58 has the uprated engine mount, 3" exhaust and coilovers. I used dynamat under the floor in the rear and some on the boot lid to reduce exhaust noise in the cabin but its heavy stuff. For the odd plastic squeak and rattle I followed my local SA's advice and used the little black felt dots you can pick most anywhere. Those worked great on the window pillars, one spot on the dash and for the plastic trim on the box section. The R58 doesn't have the roll bars on top of the box though. Love to see some pics if you have time while installing it. I started to remove all of that trim on the R58 to gain access to the fuel pump and filter. It was turning into a gigantic PITA. Then when I looked up the directions in ISTA it said it was quicker to just drop the tank lol... so I did.
