How many miles do you have on your roadster? Any major problems, so far?
I have 22,200 on my 2013... No problems at all ! ( btw: looks like I will be keeping this baby for a few more years!)... Love it!

52,000 on my 2013 MCS Roaster. Only problem was the oil wicking problem that I fixed myself. Car has never been back to MINI ever.

 

26K on a '13 delivered in Nov 2012.

I have a slight bit of wear at the two spots where the top contacts the rear seal when open, and a bit of the "snakebite" under the boot lid where the cable harness rubs on the body -- both well documented in the forums. Neither troublesome enough for me yet to warrant any action. Other than those two minor items, trouble free.

I've been in the shop several times...but only to install some nifty mods.

 

30,000 miles on a 2012 I bought used just over a year ago with 10,000 on the odometer.

It's been back to the dealer for the oil wicking, rattling drivers side door (not solved yet), a climate control issue and scheduled maintenance.

I also have fold creases/wear marks on the top from fabric rubbing against itself when down, I asked the dealer how to keep it from getting worse and was surprised to learn I can get a new one under warranty, so that will be going on later this year.

Only "mods" are a full leather JCW steering wheel (not just the normal one with red stitching), the JB+, and I have the MiniFini hitch installed for a bike rack.

Very happy so far.

Before you comment , I drive A LOT, just a little over 86k for the most part trouble free! ( we seem to go through tires quite frequently so far replaced 3 on my own from wear 4 different tire and 1 rim incidents covered under Tire and Wheel.

 

Just a few rattles that have been fixed at least once (top when down and drivers side door). Additionally, I have had the DSC module replaced. I think the weak point is engine is the water pump. I am tempted to replace it before it fails and to replace the battery before it fails. Overall, I still love the car.

 

How many miles do you have?

 

Approximately 19,000 miles so far. Trinity is my weekend car. Many more miles on the daily driver.
