Chrome line seat belt D ring

I've checked real OEM I can't find the part number for the metallic seat belt D ring only. I found out it's part of the interior chrome line. Anyone?

This interested me (it had chrome in the headline...).

I took a poke around on RealOEM myself, and it looks to me like that part is included in the "Upper seat belt for vehicles with chrome line interior" (see here). ECS Tuning has them for $143.73 here and here for right and left on a 2014 if I decoded the part numbers right (not responsible if I didn't, etc...)

PM ECSTuning, they've always been really helpful for me.

I actually did and got feedback from ECS. They came up with same part numbers.
The initial thought is that the end attachment of the belt may not fit through the D ring and the D ring might be fed through before the end tip is attached to the belt material or before the belt material is fed through the retention mechanism making it impossible to be sold separately. I'm not 100% sure of that but either way it doesn't seem possible to swap it after the fact.

Needless to say, it's disappointing...
I'm not going to spend over $300 for 2 D rings

.

Maybe you can find someone with a chrome aversion who would be willing to trade?

Ha ha, wouldn't that be perfect
It would have to be a roadster or a coupe I think. It narrow things down a bit...

That would explain why I have them on my Roadster. I did add the chrome line interior.

Being first time MINI buyer I wish we didn't get such a rookie MA the day we ordered. There's so many little thing I would have done differently if only I was informed properly at the time . . . Oh well what is done cannot be undo...

Sorry, TG. I had an absolutely fantastic MA with many years of MINI experience and love her to death. We clicked immediately. Funny thing though, we both picked up on each others artistic sensibility, only to discover that we both went to the same very small art college. I guess it was destiny.
