Anyone know how to get the boot off the console in order to replace the ****? Its different than in previous/other models and different from the video on Youtube.

 

Not difficult, just pull up...that's all I did and it came off......

 

...and be careful when pulling that shift **** off. There have been many of us who have either smacked themselves in the forehead...or worse.... smacked themselves in the umm..."Gentleman Vegetables" pulling the shifter off. At least with a roadster you have more headroom. Are you replaceing the boot or the ****? If you decide to replace the ****, take a look at Whalen. Great product and great service.

 

Sit in driver seat, put into 2nd gear, pull towards you and watch out >_<
