....and I thought the availability to order Racaro's was mid to late Feb but manufacture was not until March. I remember originally they were not going to be available until March but Looks like the availability date was pusshed up. Not often that an availability date "slips" forward.

I bet they are some kind of comfy, grippy with great lumbar & head support. I wants'en bad.

Yeah, I don't understand it either. I placed my order as soon as the configurator came up to build Roadsters back in January.

The dealer gave me their first production slot that they had for a JCW Roadster. I got a notice on February 7th that a slot was available.

Production started on the 23rd of February and finished last week. Now I am waiting on a ship, I think the first one is the Asian King which leaves Southampton on the 13th, arrives in Port Hueneme on April 4th. Probably get to the dealer around the 11-13th. After dealer prep, clear bra, and JCW accessories. I probably will get to pick it up around the 18th of April.

So how is it that some guy has had a JCW Roadster for a couple of weeks already. Must be a pre-production model, or a roadshow model that he took.

Yeah, I know, so how did this doctor already have a JCW with Recaros by the third week in February. Supposedly he took delivery 3 weeks ago.

They take a week to build, a couple weeks to ship, and another week to get through VDC and dealer prep.

What is confusing about the challenge rims is the black ones are standard on the JCW model, you can only up grade to the silver ones on the S. Now that isn't to say that you can't pay big bucks through the dealer to get the Black Challenge Spokes but it would be a speacial order and I am sure you would be waiting.

One of the reasons the East coast is seeing the JCW Roadsters first is the build weeks from 6 and 7 only take 9 days to get to NY if they catch the boat right. And the Turandot was setting at the dock at the right time of the month

I guess this is to differentiate the S from the JCW. Although you can get the Silver Chalange on the JCW.

If the Doctor's car got on the Don Juan on the 13th it would have been here on the 22 and some cars do clear VDC in 48 hrs. So it is possible.
