Big Brake Kit

Has Anyone installed the big brake kits on their Mini? I was considering the Triton Sparta but somewhere it says you need 18" wheels?

First, the kit you linked is a rear kit for an E9x BMW... Ain't no way those are going to fit an R5x Mini Cooper.

Second, why Sparta? Seems like there are less expensive offerings depending on your goals. Are you looking to upgrade for looks? Performance? Other??

here is the correct link below. These are actually less expensive then the jcw brake kit, and yes, I'm trying to "sweeten my ride"

I'd recommend the Wilwood or JCW. Wilwood for higher performance as they have been the best and also getting parts for them later is pretty easy, along with getting different aftermarket pads as they have a standard pad catalog.

Are you sure about being less expensive? The JCW 4-pot kit is front AND rear, and the Sparta kit is front only. It may be less expensive than the GP2 kit, but that kit also includes the rear brakes.

I would much rather have the GP2 kit.
