Cabin Microfilter..............
My car has been serviced by the dealer a month ago and the cabin micro filter has been replaced.
Since a few days, it is a cracker box when the fan is from medium to high speed for about 10 minutes and it goes back to normal.
Is there a way to clean the damn thing? Maybe, there is something just sucked in the filter.

My guess is it's installed a little off, so its rattles or did something smell? If its not installed right it can rattle, and if an animal makes a nest in there it can rattle and stink, even on a new one.

step one is to pull the filter and check for anything in 'the box'
know how to do this?
easy:
under the glove compartment you should see a rectangular box like this: (pictures are a GEN2 hard top, but should be the same)
on the front edge you see some clips which when released allow you to open the bottom ... the filter slides in on an angle ... kinda turns on a curve and slides in ....
IME the clips are STRONG ... you might need a screwdriver to wedge 'em open ... and you may also find a screw (look at the left side of my cover)

Thanks for the reply, I had a local BMW shop look at it this afternoon. The filter itself was not installed properly by the dealer.
I am amazed how they messed up with a lot of things on the last service.

That's what I figured. Glad it was not an animal stuck in there.

Thanks for your reply. I don't see how an animal could go there on a recent car unless the bottom cover is permanently removed.
Also, my understanding is there is a small rubber strip sealing the filter when it goes back in place. If the seal is not properly set, it rattles in the plenum.

Welcome.
They get in there from the inlet side under the cowl.
