2012 Coupe S, next mod tune or JB+

Ok, so I've spent several hours surfing here trying to figure out my next mod. I just installed a Milltek exhaust system. I'm thinking of going with a catless dp and the question is which tune? I see Way Motor Works, Mario, etc. Is a tune that much better than a JB+? Also thinking about a spring booster, Forge Recirc Valve N18 and Powerflex Lower Engine Mount Bushing.

Definitely recommend the Powerflex Lower Bushing. As for tune, I recommend Manic over the JB+

As for the next mod like he said the Powerflex engine bushing would be #1 mod as it's best bang for the buck.

Then I would add a Forge intercooler to get those intake temps down and regain any lost power there. Plus you will want this for the tune.

Yes a tune is superior to the JB module as your ECU is reprogrammed with new boost, timing, fuel and so on settings. The piggy back modules just try to fool signals to make the ecu try to compensate. A tune will actually make hard changes and allow the ECU to work correctly with the actual signals the engine has. Also the tune will negate you needing a sprint booster as we also change the throttle maps to improve the throttle response like the sprint booster, just without the extra cost or extra plug in.

What Way said ^

I've had both JB and now Manic and by far the Manic Stage 2 is better. The throttle response alone is worth it. It will tune out the CEL when you get a catless DP also, JB doesn't do that. I also like that it keeps engine temps lower all the time and not just when in sport mode. SPS switch lets you change maps (stock, low, medium, high) which is actually easier than unplugging the JB for when you need service or don't want valet or someone knowing its tuned. JB is great for convenience though, plug it and go, no dealer issues, no time to have ECU flashed and doesn't void warranty since you can remove without a trace. If you want convenience and piece of mind for warranty, go JB. If you aren't, go Manic, it definitely performs better and has great potential down the road.

Skip the recirc valve until you blow the stock one and go for the bushing. It even made a difference on my All4.
