Smile Lamin-x MN008Y Headlight Cover

To any R58 drivers out there wondering what the Lamin-x headlight cover looks like, I recently put a set on my R58. Overall first impressions: I couldn't be happier. I realize that overall lighting distance was shortened versus stock and no covers, but still great for night time driving and very good in reduced visibility (only tried in rain so far.)

Kept stock light bulbs so tint is medium yellow with a tint of green, but just the smallest amount. Highly recommend if anyone wants to make their headlights rally yellow.

Install wasn't terrible. Maybe 20-30 mins tops. Very forgiving if you place wrong. Instructions come with the kit, and there is a set for fog lights too, how ever I'm already running Nokya's daytime lights and Nokya 2500K in the fog lights so didn't put on covers.

Thanks for the update and pics. Gives it a french headlight look or track car look during the daylight.

Yup...had a clear set on my r53 from nearly new....install was ok...might have been the 3m product that was similar....but after 100,000 miles the lenses were still clear on my HID'S, and the covers were just barely getting to the point it was almost time to remove them.
I used clear as a way to protect the lenses from sand and grit...it worked great.

Have the yellow ones on my racing cars and clear on street cars well worth it.

I should have used these on the R52 back in the day, mine are all pitted.

Is this legal for street driving?
