My third brake light cover has cracked and I ordered a replacement. I am unsure how to remove and replace the third brake light.

Does anyone have any instructions or can guide me on how to do this?

 

Its in the rear boot. So you have to take in the side top lip cover out to access the rear brake light. Couple of screws near the inside handle " cups" and then snapped in .

#5 is the main pieces and #3 is the screws.



Here is the metal trunk part and the little whole under the adjustable wing.

Couple screws and unpluging the wire and its out.

 

ECS, is the part just for the lens or is it the complete light? One of the leds went out on mine.

 

Its the lens with the leds, complete.
