Picked it up yesterday!!

There was a slight delay in picking up the new JCW Coupe, but I picked it up yesterday. Now I cannot post a photograph. This site blows. I cannot add a photo from my iPhone because I get that Parse Error, and when I try to do it on my Mac, it won't work either!! So frustrating!

Smart move you made there Bean0709. You know what you could do is swap out the red mirror caps for a set of black/gray JCW caps, and maybe the side scuttles for some JCW ones that are similar to the mirror caps. Add a couple bonnet strips. The black/white silver look could be in the cards. I'm the one with the gray/red look!

Thinking about swapping the mirror caps, however, the car is covered in a clear bra so putting racing stripes on right now is not in the cards until i have that removed. I actually hate clear bras. What mirror caps were you referring to "Thebignewt?"

Our sponsor ECS has some caps. They just pop off/on and that black/gray design is pretty subtle. http://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2013-C...rors/ES253381/

Congratulations, nice car. I would just have the mirror caps painted black, something you can do by yourself. They are very easy to remove.

What are the redlines you have on your wheels? The scuttles look nice.

Six months ago, I found something similar for a grille badge I installed on the right side of the lower grille. It is diecast enameled aluminum in blue and red in the shape of the GB island. It looks real cool.

Those are from GoBadges, they're actually a strip of plastic U shaped stuff with 3M tape. You prep the wheel edge, peel off the tape, and press it on there and wrap it around. Looks pretty good. $50. I got some Unionjack door pull stickons from them too. Nice little accessory site.

Think you aced it here with the red top/ red mirror caps , and a little UJ. Nice touches that work together.

First of all I love your new JCW coupe and after just getting our new JCW coupe I know you will love it as much as we do.
Ours is the same color combo but we have black mirrors. If you are looking to trade because we want red mirrors I am willing to trade and I will pay shipping both ways. I will send you a pm.

Damn I am loving it. Congrats. We just sold our 04 mini S fully loaded with the pano roof. I think they kind of stuck it to you on the trade in but as long as you're happy with it then that's all that matters. I would have sold it private party myself. In fact that's what we did with my fiancé's 04 mini S which needed the entire AC system replaced and we got $4800 for it and sold it within 2 hours of posting on CL.
Then we bought a 2012 white silver JCW coupe just like yours with all black accents and roof and mirrors but with 40k miles for $18k from carmax.

Hmmmmmm---I think what I didn't get on trade I made up for on what I paid on the Coupe. It is a 2014 with almost every possible option including Recaros for 28k and it had 2440 miles. Sticker was $41,000. I think I got a pretty sweet deal.

You got a good deal for a so low mileage 2014 Coupe. It is a shame somebody lost so much money after barely one year. The resale value on the Coupe doesn't seem quite good.

As from yesterday, there is a brand new 2015 JCW Coupe for sale from a Texas dealer for 33K.

The Mini dealer in town has still two 2014 S coupe and one 2015 roadster on the parking lot for the last three months.

Just for tickles did a search on CARS.COM. found 135 2015 coupes for sale NEW. of those only 34 were 6speeds. Of those 34 only 7 were JCWs Ranging from 26k to 40k. Sent from my iPad using NAMotoring

That's a great deal. Especially with the recaros!

I certainly agree. I forgot to mention that my car came from the factory equipped with the JCW alcantara steering wheel, JCW gauges, 18" black Championship wheels and alcantara dash trim. The previous owner blacked out all of the chrome trim, including replacing the tail lights (which I love), added the full GP rear diffuser, clearbra, carbon fibre accents throughout including a JCW shift ****.

But you know what I am really starting to love about this car? Those lil red mirror caps...really gives the Coupe some flavor and sets it apart from the rest of the crowd!!

It is a pretty good inventory for somebody who really wants a new Coupe.

My understanding from what I read on this site some months ago was few were available and none were JCW unless you order before Mini phased out production.

Your deal looks even better since you save more than 10K on a brand new car if we all agree 2000 miles is nothing.

I read on one of the sales figures threads that Mini sold 1000 Coupes in 2014 in the US. So using 7/34 percent JCW about 200 JCW Coupes were sold the year I bought mine. Makes me feel special!

It doesn't break that down. Sales figs don't break down how many were JCW either, I just extrapolated from his number. On Motoringfile I read that for F56 buyers in the US about 80% are AT, more like 50% in Europe. But they sell 2 lower price models in Europe (Mini 1, and Diesel) they don't sell here. For the R56 in the US about 75% were MCS only 25% Cooper.
