Thumbs up Difference between r56 and r58 mirrors?

Hello my friends. I am John (from Greece-Athens) this is my new thread opening. Would like to ask yo if there is any difference between r56 and r58 interior rear view mirror and exterior mirrors. I am asking because I m going to order checkered mirror caps (exterior and interior) for my r58 cooper coupe from an owner of r56 Cooper s. Furthermore, if there is any difference through their exterior Door handles (checkered of course again) . Please state also an opinion for the matching of those in my car.my car is a black mini Cooper coupe with silver top, silver stripes ,silver exterior mirror caps, chromed exterior door handles and silver 17 inch wheels (the same with Cooper s) than yo very much in advance!

John

The mirrors are the same for the R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60, and R61. Mirror caps for one will fit the other. The one thing to be aware of is whether or not you have power folding mirrors. The caps for those (regardless of model) will not work on non-power folding mirrors and vice-versa. In the interior, the Coupe and Roadster (R58 and R59) have a different inside rearview mirror. All other models have the same. Door handles are the same among all models too (the Countryman has four of them, though). Just be sure to specify whether or not you have Comfort Access when ordering.

Thank you very much for the very professional answer, I appreciate it! One more question regarding the rear view mirror, I had an input for the difference between r56 and r58/9 but I could t believe it.do you know any site you would propose that I can order the interior mirror cap for r58 in checkered colour?

I think the rear view mirror are the same for r56 r58 and so on but it have 2 different model for standard and auto dimming mirror so be careful before order it.
