How I blacked out the chrome? I just used alot of masking and Plasti dip lol. Didn't know what I would like better so I wanted it to be removable, but I definitely like the black better. Turns out the matte finish matches really well with the other matte black trim like on the fenders. Not sure the route I'm going take for the wheels yet.
I’ve had to say goodbye to my most favorite Mini ever. Fortunately, someone in Austin has purchased it and will be rebuilding it for his brother. It was sad to see it go this way.
I found a 20 thousand mile gem I had to get... there is something about the Coupes I love...
Low mileage Coupe, all original and almost like brand new
Yeah sometimes I miss my 2014 JCW Coupe. The ride was a little harsh but it was plenty fast and handled like a go kart for sure! My new JCW is a lot more accommodating
Love my 2012 R58 6spd. Bought it used at Carmax in 2016 with about 38k miles on it. He's at about 75k now. I have gradually blacked out the chrome over time except the side scuttles which I can't seem to find any that I like in black, and the trim below the windows which I can't seem to find anything that will work. I love the blacked out taillights that I put in (not pictured). Have had virtually no issues with it so far, except the brake bleed valve on the passenger rear caliper wouldn't thread back in and had to get it towed to the dealer for new calipers. I plan on keeping it forever. I recently bought a new 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 Duramax diesel and was worried I wouldn't drive my baby as much, but I feel like I love it more than ever, especially when it comes to parking it :P Day of Purchase! Had to put a front plate back on in Virginia
Smoke from active forest fires in northwestern Ontario has moved over southern Ontario. I noticed last evening that, although there were no clouds, the sun looked very hazy. I was at my MIL trimming shrubs last night, and took this shot (because I thought the haziness actually looked kind of cool - almost a sepia edge to it.)
Got some Union Jack tail lights last week. The all red ones were just too normal for me so went with these ones Also blacked out the surrounds both front and back.
