R58 Wrap or Paint Roof?
I was going to say paint, due to long term durability. But you have a good point there. Red roof may not be to everyone's taste, so the ability to peel it off might not be a bad thing. If this is a car that could be traded or sold a few years down the road.
If you plan to be buried in your Coupé, just paint it.

In my experience with Vinyl, it looks bad after a year or so. I would paint it if it were me. Just like the vinyl can be peeled off, the roof can always be painted back if someone hates it that much,,,,,,,,,, but I doubt they will.
"Which would be better in the long run?"
Ya, I missed that part. That being the case definitely paint it. However using brands like 3M I've had vinyl last and look likeA roof is a big area and vinyl doesn't like to bake in the sun.
