Congratulations, but the thread is asking about female owners of MINI Coupes.
Why thank you- it was implied that I was a female by the mere fact that I posted in the forum, but if you require verbiage stating the obvious, then hear this- I am woman, hear me roar.

I think James' statement had more to do with being the owner of a MINI Coupe than being female. But congrats on your new Countryman!
Woohoo! me too!
I just wish my husband was jealous of my ride... He drives a subaru outback which he loooves. I made him come in my car last night and when we got home he complained that it was too uncomfortable and the ride was too harsh... He was stressed out because he felt like I couldn't see out the right (I could), and because I drive too fast for his taste. He thinks the car is too small for him (because he's such a giant at 5'10").
Ah well... he can have fun in his boring old Subaru, and I'll tear up the road in my car!
Very hard for me to comprehend anyone not liking a Coupe but hey, at least you won't have to worry about the Hubby taking it for joyrides behind your back, Alex.
To increase passenger legroom, remove the hard-foam footrest under the floor mat. Pull really hard, it's held on w/rubber cement. It'll provide an extra 4"+ of legroom, and you can always put it back in if a shorter passenger needs it. My 5'10" hubby is much happier now when he rides w/me!
Geez... I'm also 5'10". Going to have to go test drive a Coupe soon to make sure I'll be comfy in the driver's seat.
Like I need an excuse to go test drive one. Haha... chomping at the bit to order one. Just have to wait for my son to get his driver's license. He's not using my new Coupe to learn to drive !

Duh... I even noticed those yesterday when wiring in my V1. Going to pull them out now! thanks!!
This is my first post, and I realize it's premature. That said...as soon as I finish agonizing over the color, I will place the order and the 8-10 week countdown will begin. (Leaning wayyyy towards red currently; I wish they had a non-peppery white.)
