Rear window

My wife just became a new Mini owner, It is a 2009 RS 57 and we both love the car. However the rear window has come loose from the top. It appears they were attached with only glue.. Is there a repair for this without buying a new top??

You can get a kit on ebay which holds the window in place as new glue cures. Can also get a second hand roof there but quite a big job, I have replaced my fabric part with window and left a short guide on here and NAM. Lastly pay someone to fix your window back in, specialists for cabrios in most large Cities.

Thanks for the info about the kit to hold the window while the glue dries. I will try to find it.
Again, thanks.

I suspect they mean you can find places that specialize in repair/replacing convertible tops

your profile does not mention where you are but where I am (Space Coast, hour from Orlando) there's more than one place that advertises 'convertible top repair/replace' and if you are near a decent sized city there's probably one & they may be able to help you out.

Having owned convertibles more often than not since 1973 I can tell you that this is something that turns out WAY better being done by someone with EXPERIENCE as compared to a 'never done it but it don't look too hard'. For example ... what glue is gonna work???? Elmer's, Gorilla, epoxy, 'super', Wrigley's gum ..... ????
