Cloth vs. Leatherette?

Which seats hold up better over time in the R57? Trying to decide between the JCW checkered cloth and the standard black letherette.

Thanks for the feedback.

Never had cloth seats, but in both my '03 and '06, when i went to trade it in (3 and 6 years later, respectively), the leatherette was considered in brand new condition. Hope that helps!

I ordered my 08s with cloth and I am glad. No problems at all. My loaners all were vinyl, hot, cold and sticky.

I have the JCW checkered cloth and wouldn't go back to leatherette. Plus it is nicer in cold and warmer climates. warmer weather its not sticky and hot..colder weather its not stiff and cold.. Seems to hold up good as well.. But I have to get more miles on it! Oh yah....I forgot... It looks awesome too! lol
