Hello. I have a 2009 Mini Cooper Hardtop with a little problem. My friend was taking out the memory card on her camera while we were driving down the road(she was in the passenger seat). Well she put the card on the top of the dash right above the glove box and secret compartment

The problem is that while driving we hit a bump and the memory card slid forward and disappeared into the very forward part of the dashboard where it touches the windshield. I have tried to find it with a flash light and a screwdriver but I cant even see it anymore.

This card has a whole vacation of photos on it and would very much like to get it back. I have searched online for guides on how to remove the Dashboard with little luck so I wanted to ask here to get some opinions. I have actually thought getting the windshield removed as I figured that might be easier since I know it should be right at the front of the car.

I have found some dashboard guides but they are all for the older version of the mini which seems to be different than mine.

If anyone could tell me or direct me to a DIY method or whatever suggestions that yall think would be helpful I would be most appreciative.
