I do the same thing, I have a 9mm tucked between the driver seat and center hump, so I have to be careful when I leave the top up.
I did leave the top down once, and I have only owned the car from Oct and someone reached in and stole my handicap parking sticker that I hang and store under the driver visor (I just piviot it, and it hangs on the arm of the visor). Some stole it!
