R52 to R57 - silly questions?

thinking I'm trading up.. but I wonder, will my MINI rubber floor mats in my R52 fit in my R57? Front driver side is cut out around accelerator so unless the setup is identical it won't fit. I know, seems silly but a dollar saved...

Not silly at all. I am looking at buying an 09 (and selling my 06) I am wondering 24/7 all the differences, plus and minus.

Looks like I may have to come up with $12K to $15 K for the price difference between my old one and new. For that kind of money you can bet before I take the plunge all my silly questions will be answered.

Ask away, I am.

My guess is that you could probably make it work... but I think there were even changes to the floor mats between the 07 and 08 R56s.

I was thinking the same thing.

BTW, anybody had both. How much different are they? What have you noticed going from one to the other?

They are completely different and the floor mats are NOT compatible. The only parts (based on my info) that is the same from the R52 to the R57 are the exterior door handles and the rear view mirror!!!
