Ordering the JCW Aero Kit for the R57?

Has anyone actually ordered the JCW Aero Kit for the R57? If so, did you and your dealership go with the primed version (not factory painted), or the factory painted)?

If we you went with the factory painted, is you dealer going to do the install themselves, or have they scheduled it to occur at the port?

Just curious. I've heard from people that both options are available, and your dealer and yourself just has to choose which one.

I'd rather go with the pre-painted one that is installed at the port.

Your thoughts?

Here's the link to the parts page which shows the JCW Aero Kit already painted for the R57.

I was going to get this option. The price stopped me. Plus, if I was going to, I would rather have the dearler do it. That way I know who did the install...a local garage... and can go back to them if there are any problems.

Also, It might even be possible to see how they do it. At least here, the local mechanics don't mind that (Germany).

By the way, when you get this done, regardless of at port or at dealer, do you get the brake vents installed as well? then I might consider the $1500 DOLLAR option slightly worth while?

So, unfortunately the part numbers for the factory painted JCW Aero Kit are no longer available, so I had to go with the primed version and have my dealer do the painting and installation. I had them confirm, and it DOES NOT include the brake vents that you were inquirying about. That is yet another option.

I went head with the JCW Aero Kit, and maybe some day in the future I'll check out the brake vent kit.

Well, look at it this way.. if you have your dealer do it, they give you your original bumpers/sideskirts ..just in case you wanna switch back for whatever reason?

But yeah i've heard dealers done that.

Yeah, my dealer ask me if I wanted the original parts. I said sure, now the question is where do I store the original parts that the JCW Aero Kit replaced...
