The '09, which will be the new R57, should hit the streets early next year (Feb. or March). It will be available in Europe this Fall.

 

I am passing on what the dealer close to St Louis told us.

The 09 May show up in December at the earliest, THEY believe. However, cars on the lot ready for sale may not trickle in until late January. Ordering one in September should get one of the first shipments. The Launch dates for it are Feb. 9, 09 they are led to estimate. All was an educated guess and take it for what it is worth, from a Dealer in the St. Louis area. If you are on the Coast, they may get there earlier?

 

It would be nice to know what the color options are going to be. Are they going to continue the sidewalk package? Have the fixed the cold start issue?

I like what I see with the interior design and the pop-up bars, but I endured the stumble early on with my 03 - S.

I hope we get to see a pricing sheet and some other specs because right now I don't know if I should grab an 08 or wait for an 09 and I don't have the information to make the decision.

 

unfortunately, with production of the R52 closing at the end of June and dealers only taking orders for a couple more weeks, you will not see a pricing and spec sheet for the R57 before having to make that decision.

 

I'm sure you're correct. I'm less sure that have any regret over that at all.
