R56 why white light option in US but standard in UK on MCS?
why white light option in US but standard in UK on MCS?
why is the white light an option (turn signals in front and rear) in US but standard in UK on MCS? its not so much the cost that gets me. but i missed it on my car spec and now its already built and on the boat. i guess its my fault for missing it but it still makes we wonder why they have the yellow standard on US MCSs? the truth is that i never looked when i was speccing the car because i guess i just assumed MINI would not even think of having those yellow lights (very un sporty) on their sports model. now i have to buy for $150 each for the rears at the dealer and also have to pay to have them installed. anybody else miss this spec? anybody actually like the yellow. anybody hate it? BTW my car is a DS/B MCS.
I think it's ridiculous to have to pay extra for a different color plastic, and I don't mind the yellow rear lens. What makes things worse is that (at least on mine) the front signal uses a yellow lens as well. I would have preferred the clear lens, and then I could switch the bulb to get rid of the "egg yolk" look.
