Got my black mcs with black interior 10 days ago and allready drove 1500 km(1000 miles).let me start with the bad things first.

1-the roof was dented when they downloaded the car from the truck. (allready repaired)
2-the dvd of the satnav was missing.i had it 3 days after picking up the car.
thats' it.every thing else is just perfect.i started this thread asking if i am luck,cause after reading on this(great)board of all the problems and issues that mini has,i was a bit worried.some examples.
no sunroof noise
no diesel engine sound when i turn on the car when cold
absolutley no interior rattels.
the steering and shift are just perfect.
the satnav has the split screen function and i also got the secret compartment above the glove box.

what else can i say.i really am enjoying the car specially with the sport button.so either i am very lucky,or mini has just started to build perfect cars.

Regarding the dent and what I assume was some re-painting, I once had some body work done on a car and asked the body shop if the new paint would age differently than the original paint. They said the new paint would actually age better, since factory painting uses a minimum of paint to control cost and the manufacturer paint booths use comparatively high-tech equipment that allows this minimum of paint while giving good coverage. So your new paint might even be an improvement, in a twisted sort of way.
