thanks for the great responses.

I'm curious what wheel/tire combo you have. I'm wondering if most here have the 17's or the 16's, particularly the former Miata owners

MC S covertible with automatic - sport package with the 17inch allows and run flats.

Been on three really long trips - two 13 hour each way trips between Lubbock and Beaumont and from Lubbock to Columbia, SC. Was a true pleasure to drive. Had a 2004 Subaru Forrester that was a great car except it was painful to drive for more than an hour at a time - just horrible seats. Mini (even with the stiff suspension) never got uncomfortable even in 13 hours of driving in one day.
