R56 Lower Clear Bra, is it worth it?
I've had the front of my car painted 4 times for various reasons and the most chipped area is always the lower part. If I had a light color car I would do the clear bra in a minute. I just don't like the look on a dark colored car.

Not to be a nay-sayer, but I'm not a clear-bra fan. The reasons are simple though -- I don't really worry about the occasional rock chip, and I'm one of those people that peels labels off of beer bottles. I know I'd probably fiddle with it. I just generally can't leave well-enough alone. I may consider the lights, but the xenons aren't directly exposed. Right now I have no plans.
Q: Is lower clear bra worth it?
A: Yes. Furthermore, I covered everything on the front end: lights, grills, bumper, hood scoop, etc. I also covered the front side of the mirror shells and the door handle wells. None of this can hurt and it does save the paint. When you get chip through the clear bra, realize it most likely would have been worse without it. Modern paints conforming to EPA environmental standards do not stand up to punishment like paints of days gone by. That is another reason placing clear bra is valuble. You an install the material yourself and save $. It is not difficult. I did it on my auto; you can, too.
