Ordered my MCS without driving it beforehand and tried to get the Works package on the 2007 model as I thought that the 2006 could need a bit more 'ooomph', but it is not available.

My dealer does not have any info if and when any tuning will be available - has anyone heard of anything to juice it up (it might not really be needed, but I am switching from a 911 ...)

 

There are a few threads around discussing the progress of the JCW GP-like version of the MINI. It's not going to be available to add later. It will need to be ordered from the factory with the car. The original schedule was something like fall 08? Do a search in the threads here I think there is a Motoringfile on this as well.
