Just ordered a 2007 MC yesterday but there is one detail left hanging. MA didn't know any details on all season vs performance tires, just stated that the treads were similar. Anyone know what brand/model the 15" all-season and base performance tires are?

I'm in Maryland and rain and snow are a concern so I'm not sure on tire selection. Don't get enough snow to warrant snow tires but need traction nonetheless. Liked the rotator spokes but they are only avallable with peformance tires but would be OK with base rim and all-season. Any help would be appreciated, only option still unsure of and only have a few more days to decide.

In this thread, 07 MCS - tire selection, I also wondered whether to get all season or performance tires and it was clear to me that performance tires are the absolutely wrong choice if you have to drive in the snow. I consider the significant difference between these categories of tires is far more important than the brand names of each option. Simply, I think if you drive in all season conditions, you should get the all season tire.
