personally I know every corner of NY, when there is traffic and where ... and I could care less about real time reporting and NAV as well ...

but I think the point was if they can't get it right in NY where there is communication galore ... what real use is for it anywhere else.

I like traffic ... make some calls, smoke, etc.

And remember that data is only as good as what is fed to it. I hear traffic reports on the radio and I'd swear they were telling me what the traffic was by looking at the clock. "Yep, 6:30PM, tell them Southbound Mopac is stop and go from Camp Mabry down to 360." Meanwhile I'm stuck not moving at all up at Far West. (Yeah, I know, makes no sense to most...)

I just have a feeling this near-RT traffic info is going to be good only for people who are not travelling their usual commute, or are in some other city than where they're used to.

I wanted the nav so bad in my car but I couldnt wait any longer so I got an order in without a nav.. I will hardwire in a portable nav.. Suprised they are only like 250$ + now for a decent one so I'm satisfied.
