'07 MINI Sighting

I saw a trailer load of new MINI's heading west on I-40 in Albuquerque on the 18th. I'm not sure whether they were the '07s or not.

I was heading the other way at rush hour. Sorry excuse I know. May have attempted it if I had a S. You are in for a real treat when you finally get behind the wheel. Enjoy and take good care of her!

Today I asked my dealer, "What if my car which is awaiting its ocean trip shows up in early February?" He said I can have it as soon as they get it prep'ed. But he also stated that display and demo cars will be getting priority. Somehow I'm imagining all their cars showing up in a single bunch, hopefully with mine included. Now I don't know how long it takes the dealership to prep each car, but my guess is that mine will sit there for a few days before I get to drive it home. He did say that I should plan on taking acceptance about a month from now.

Hey ken -- did your MA say that he would get them delivered to his dealership early? If not from what I understand the hold will be at the Distribution Center -- not the dealer. So he is telling the truth -- he probably will call you as soon as he gets the car in -- but that does not mean you'll get it before the 17th of Febuary.
I understand that the Distribution Centers will not be sending the cars to the dealers early (maybe a day or so -- but not earlier) -- that way MINI can control the launch and the dealers will not be tempted to start handing them out since they will not have them.
