No Joe - I read his post to say the rim was 18 without the tire. He weighed his tire/rim and subracted the stated weight of the tire.

According to www.wheelweights.net the 16" bridge spokes are 20.9lbs. A full 50% heavier than the lightest wheels of this size!

crown spokes are 25lbs! purdy heavy, i was thinking of getting the 14 lb 17" Motegi Traklite in Anthracite for my DS/B.
