Hello & welcome to NAM. The pictures that have been surfacing lately calm my fears. It's still a MINI! I've never seen these before. Thanks for posting the link.

There is a better forum to post 2007 news on.....

Wow, that made me cringe when I saw those pictures. I hope that's not the final project....and I hope there was some body colored masking!

There's definitely still masking over the front and rear bumpers, the rear lights, and the side grilles. Having said that, those are still about the clearest pictures we've seen.

The rear bumper looks cool, I like it a lot. It'll be good to see what the final treatment on the rear lights is.
Side on it's hard to tell the difference. The wheel arches look a little bigger; 18" wheels should really compliment the 2007! The hood looks a little longer and bulgier too, but I kinda like it.
Front on it looks sleeker somehow. I guess with the headlights wrapping around more, and the front grill no longer being split between two panels it has a more aerodynamic feel. I miss the slats though.

Put some 18"s on it, lower it some, add a set of stripes, and you've got a nice looking car. Very evolutionary (in a good way).
