Does anybody happen to know how big the S843 Power reduction drops the power of the N16 engine by? I just bought a second gen Mini and when I ran the VIN it showed this code. So now I'm wondering if it's worth getting that removed.

Thank you, I've had a good read of that. But it doesn't help me with the question of how much power is taken away but the S843 'option'. If it's 20–30 horsepower (as mentioned on that page), I guess removing it is a no-brainer. But if we're talking more like 5 horsepower, that might not be worth bothering with.
