Intake manifold connections


Can anybody tell me what this connection on the intake manifold is for? It is on a 2010 Cooper S R56 N14.

@Mccannro ,

Some models use that line for vacuum. In this case your model doesn’t use it. if you look closely, that port is actually closed off and plugged by the manufacturer.

+1 Yep its capped off on the side. Two ports are open for USA cars. Third port is blank. They are shared with Peugeot and Citroen so those cars us that port dependent on model/.
