ECM interchangeability

Will a 2010 MCS ECM work in a 2013 MCS? Both are R56 cars.

I really don't think so being the year difference and also the options between both vehicles.... are both vehicles auto or manual....
Then you need to have it cloned with your key, and cas as well....

Both are "S" and 6 speed.

I tried just for comparison before to see being that I had another one from a 2013 R56s in a earlier year
The plugs were different and also the shape of both units and wouldn't even fit in the ECM location..
The earlier model was a much thicker square unit where the other was narrow also a little bigger....

Probably won't work. Different motors. 2010 had the N14. Your 13 will have the N18

Exactly 💯💯💯 percent...... that's why I said options as well.....the manufacturer don't really want you to be able to switch a lot of part's around from year to year...... They definitely won't really make no money 💸💰💵💰.... LoL 🤣🤣🤣🤣
