Climate control not working

Hello all, I recently got my first mini, an 07 r56 base. I recently changed the stock radio out for a ddin digital stereo, and now the climate control direction dial and temp dial do not work. Everything else works however. Is there a specific plug on the back of the climate control module that directly controls those two controls? Or is just the entire module that is bad? I’ve gone through and made sure every plug is actually clicked in. From what I understand my mini has the manual climate controls. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

I take it everything worked properly before the audio upgrade.

Pull the climate control module and check to make sure the electrical connectors are properly seated. The have locking levers, and can be tricky. With the connector removed, make sure the locking lever is in the full unlocked position. As you push the connector back in, the locking lever will move toward the locked position and the click into place. Remember, the locking lever can be in the locked position without the connector being fully inserted into the receptacle, so don't let that fool you.
