R56 Front brake pipe replacement
Front brake pipe replacement
Hi all, went to swap my brake hoses out and the nut is seized to the brake pipe. Ending up snapping the drivers side pipe as it twisting with the nut and the other side isn't much better despite lots of penetrating oil.
Got some new pipes on order and wondered how straightforward it is to replace, as in what is best to pull out for access?
For the passenger side, can you actually undo from the hose connection as opposed the top nut? Any other ideas for undoing without cutting off appreciated!
Cheers...

Goog Luck my friend. After twisting both pipes off of the rear brakes because they were seized on, i found bendable solid brake lines, the proper fittings and a small tool to make the flair - all online. The flare is critical and mini uses them on all these lines. The brake lines from the dealer sometimes come in straight lengths and impossible to bend without the proper tools.
