2008 mini cooper hatchback

hey guys! So I just got a stock 2008 mini cooer hb and it doesnt have turbo and I want maybe upgrade it to make it faster... is that possible?

Heck of a lot of work! Might be more cost effective to sell Justa and buy an S. (But I still love my 2005 Justa and will never sell it! Lol)
