Spec-D high beams?

Finally got my Spec-D black housing headlights yesterday. Got them installed and adjusted for the holes in the hood and adjusted the beams as well. Lights look great, but the output is lacking (halogens), so I will experiment with different bulbs a bit, maybe look into an HID kit. Looking for a way to get the high beams to hold in the "on" position. I know someone has to have done this before. These are single element H11 bulbs, so the headlights have apertures that are electronically activated to open up for high beams. I tried cutting one wire off of what I thought was some kind of small square canceler that was adhered to the outside headlight housings, that made the lights go completely off when high beam is selected. HA! So.....anybody? Do I need to move a wire in the connector or something?

Thanks in advance for any help y'all can give.
Chris
